Pharmacological effect
1. Target: Integrins αvβ3 and αvβ5, which are cyclic peptides containing the RGD (Arg-Gly-Asp) sequence, competitively block the binding of integrins to the extracellular matrix (boronectin, fibronectin) for PMC.
2. Anti-angiogenesis: Inhibits the adhesion, migration and proliferation of tumor neovascularization endothelial cells, induces endothelial cell apoptosis, and cuts off tumor blood supply.
3. Inhibit tumor invasion and metastasis: Block the adhesion of tumor cells to the matrix, reducing the ability of tumor infiltration and distant metastasis; It can inhibit the FAK/Src/AKT pathway.
4. Radiotherapy sensitization: Preclinical studies have shown that when used in combination with radiotherapy and chemotherapy, it enhances the sensitivity of glioblastoma to radiotherapy.
The main development target indication: Glioblastoma (GBM, malignant glioma); The Phase III clinical trial failed to reach the primary endpoint, and the development was terminated. It has also conducted Phase II explorations in melanoma, head and neck cancer, etc. Administration method: Intravenous infusion
